The challenge
A symbiotic collaboration between Netkin Architect and the design firm Cecconi Simone was the inspiration for Lippincott Living. The design focus of these eight urban townhomes was to offer a blend contemporary design and privacy is this dense urban setting. Extensive use of aluminum lattice at the exterior provided a functional and unique design and the windows were to keep within this theme.
Our solution
Blending the high-performance of the 4500 Series Tilt-Turn, and the functionality of the 1400 Series Casement-Awning, Euro Vinyl Windows was able to accommodate the client with a window package that met both the design criteria and the budget of the developer, Great Gulf Homes. Unique to this project, an exterior finish was created to mimic the aluminum design elements. Working with an industrial-rated polyurethane finish, EVW was able to blend an exterior finish that offered the look of commercial aluminum yet satisfied the Energy Star criteria of this couture-like project.
